Hello my name is Mackenzie I'm going to be doing your morning announcements I'm going to start off by sharing a joke. Why did the teddy bear not want dessert?   Because he was stuffed! Something interesting we are doing in 4th grade is we are making advertisements on the Gold Rush. I'm making an advertisement about a new clothing company called Rustin Softs. Rustin Softs is a clothing company that provides soft clothes for miners. A special tradition I do with my grandma during Christmas time is we make holiday cookies we make snickerdoodle, sugar cookies and caramel cookies. We make them into shapes of stars, gingerbread men and Christmas trees. Please share a holiday tradition that you celebrate with your family. We would love to hear about it. The next onsite covid test is Wednesday May 26th please sign up to help our community stay safe I have been tested several times and it is painless and easy we hope that you will get your onsite covid testing. Tomorrow morning the office will be drawing a ticket to determine which class gets a popsicle party on Friday to earn tickets classes and students can post acts of Community kindness on the kindness padlet along with the name of your teacher a raffle ticket will be put in the bucket for each act posted so make sure to post your video and your teacher's name with your post. Remember the first match of our cornhole tournament is scheduled for Wednesday June 2nd during lunch recess. If your classmates want to start practicing ask your teacher to please sign up a cornhole board from the office. Please remember to follow the campus rules when moving to your assigned area please stay with your cohort. Students should not be intermingling with other cohorts when eating it is very important to remain a minimum of three feet away from others make sure after wipe down the table surface before heading off to your assigned area. Now it's time for the birthday announcements on Wednesday we have Bianca in 1st grade, we have Juan in Kinder, Kalana in 3rd grade and Duncan and Talia in 4th grade. Happy birthday to you all. To help our community stop the spread of covid we want to wear a mask make sure also to carry it over your mouth and your nose.  Hope you have a wonderful day Cheetahs, bye.
