Hi Cheetahs, my name is Brooklyn and I have a funny joke.  What did the wall say to the wall?  Meet you in the corner I am in Mrs. Nelson's class and we are learning about rhyming words.  We even made a ryhming book.  Last time I made the morning announcements I shared my top five favorite life hacks since summer is almost here I will give you five more so your summer is even more fun step one number one take your favorite juice mine is lemon and pour it into a bag and then put it in the freezer for about an hour take it out leave it on the counter for at least ten minutes when you're done put the straw in delicious! then you get a really yummy slurpee number two sometimes in the summer you can get sunburned in order to make sure your sunburn goes away quickly get a ice drawer rub pour aloe vera in put it in the freezer take it out mine is all coming out and rub it on your sunburn it will soothe your sunburn and make it go away and heal it quicker number I love going to the beach but I hate it when I get sand all over my feet now just get a sock put baby powder in it tie it up and all over sand and it gets it right off number four I love playing outside at night in the summer but mosquitoes always bite me to stop this from happening get a bottle pour mint mouthwash mosquitoes hate mint spray it and they will not go this will make you this will make it so they don't bite you number five finally bees are always ruining your summer picnic sprinkle garlic powder or something like with a strong smell bees do not like strong smells put it around your meal or picnic and the bees will stop coming try these summer hacks out and let me know how they work for you the next day for Covid testing is Wednesday May 26th please sign up please remember to follow the campus rules when moving to your assigned area please stay with your own class when eating it is very important to remember to remain a remain 3 feet apart away from others after eating wipe down the table we will be having a community tournament the week of June 1st keep practicing and stay tuned during carpool please pull up as far forward as possible this helps things move more quickly a special happy birthday to today Hudson in Kindergarten on Saturday Ella in 4th grade it is also my dad's birthday on Saturday happy birthday daddy and on Sunday Madeline in 1st grade she's my friend and Redeem in 3rd grade and Emmanuelle in 6th grade Jada and Elise in eighth grade help our community stop the spread of covid by wearing a mask and making sure it covers your mouth and nose bye Cheetahs, have a great day
