hi I'm Kirah and I'm in 6th grade to start off today's morning announcements I'm going to be giving an update on my class we just finished the book Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief.  It was very exciting.  I would recommend this book to 5th graders and above depending on your reading level now for an inspirational quote to start your day off right. "Dream with ambition and lead with conviction" Kamala Harris. Now for the news from the office CSMH is full of people from many different cultures.  We would like to know more if you have a tradition or holiday that you celebrate share it with our Charter School family ask your parent to make a video or message Mrs. Gill.  Todays on site covid-19 testing will be in the staff parking lot please make sure to get tested to keep our community healthy.  Our final and next testing session will be on May 26th As you know there are rules when coming to school especially now please remember to stay with your cohort at all-times, stay three feet away when eating a lunch and snack this is very important since you don't have a mask on and lastly please clean up your area and wipe it down before heading off to your assigned play area are you having fun with Cornhole at recess well keep practicing because we're going to have a cornhole tournament on the week of June 1st Keep practicing and stay tuned for more details.  Who knows you might be the next Cornhole Champion.  This next announcment is to the parents.  Please make sure to pull as far forward as you can during carpool times it will make carpool go more fast and efficient and it will also reduce the amount of cars on Monterey Road now the birthday announcements today we want to wish a very happy birthday to Jamila and Isabella in 1st grade and Lauren in 6th grade tomorrow we have Nathaniel in kindergarten, have a great day filled with birthday wishes and lots of cake please please please contribute and do your part to stop the spread of covid-19 wear a mask and make sure it covers your nose and your mouth have a great week CSMH bye
