good morning Charter School of Morgan Hill it is mrs. Brown here on this marvelous Monday and I am here to wish you a happy first day of Spirit Week today is superhero day so I hope that you are hoarding all of your favorite superhero gear as I am doing my best here to channel my inner Batwoman I also want a tribute to some very special and important Charter School of Morgan Hill super and those are our parents and our teachers I took a moment to look up a definition of what constitutes a superhero and I read that a superhero is someone who is able to perform heroic Deeds that of a normal person and I think that our parents and our teachers certainly fit this bill they have been working diligently to provide the best pause learning environment and experiences for you Charter School of Morgan Hill cheetahs and they have been persevering and they've been pushed outside of their limits and I would say that they have performed Beyond heroic deeds and Beyond what any of us would have ever considered normal before this whole pandemic set go to all of you parents and all of you teachers I thank you for your dedication for your commitment and just know how much you are appreciated I wanted to give you an update on the as you know our waiver was approved and we will be able to be bringing some small cohorts at kindergarten and first grade students back onto the campus we had some Kindergarten class does that will be starting this Thursday and some first grade classes that will be coming on for the first time a week from today next Monday Mississippi and I and mr. Oscar and the teacher I've been working hard to set up some Outdoor Learning spaces for for those students who will be doing in person learning and we are so looking forward to having back on campus we hope that it will be very and when we can start walking more gray bubble and see more of you back for in-person learning couple of other announcements first of all today is the first the first meeting of the Arts Art Club for first grade if you are interested in joining this club and haven't yet signed up it's not too late please see the Friday folder for instructions this is also the final week for you to be able to draw and submit a start to show your gratitude to the firefighters who protected our campus when the fire got dangerously close to Charter School of Morgan Hill so there are instructions in the email as to how to submit your heart and we hope that you will participate tomorrow is tropical Tuesday be sure to support your tropical wear and also log into the padlet and post your picture of parrot be creative this could be your backyard swimming pool or pictures from a family vacation that you took to a a tropical destination so we look forward to seeing most tomorrow what's you father the question of the week would you rather be invisible or be able to fly I wonder what you'll pick whatever it is sure to log on and cast your vote by Wednesday puzzle clue Wednesday and results will be posted on Thursday. I left you a little clue as to what my preferences we have some birthdays to celebrate today we have Drake in fourth grade and Juliana and fifth grade you all will probably recognize those names and those faces as both of those students have already hosted morning announcements for us we wish Drake and Juliana a very happy birthday and a 1 careful year ahead I cannot leave you without a safety reminder and that is to stay 6 feet apart from others when you are in public and in addition to this math we can't forget about this mess we how to keep practicing keep wearing our masks in public we want to continue with our safety measures so that we can all be returning to campus as soon as possible that is the end of my announcement so I leave you wishing you a wonderful day of learning and a great week and I look forward to seeing you again.
