good morning Charter School of Morgan Hill it's mrs. pfefferle in here coming to you on this terrific Tuesday I hope that you all enjoyed a wonderful three day weekend and had an opportunity for some rest relaxation and boy was at hot I hope you found some creative ways to escape the Heat I want to start our morning announcements with an update on Prop 51 and that is a project that is a lie Charter School of Morgan Hill to do some renovating and refurbishing of our campus last week we had a team of teachers and administrators that was able to go on a school tour of the Campbell School of innovation they have some incredible learning fireman's established and it was such a treat for us to tour the school and look for ideas that we may want to implement on our own campus next I wanted to update you on the waiver everyone is asking what is going on how we been approved we do not have official word yet but we are anticipating that we will receive news on our approval hopefully today so as soon as we hear we will be sure and communicate with you Friday we kicked off a community art project and this was for the firefighters who helped come to the rescue when the fire was so close to Charter School Morgan Hill weeks ago if you would like to participate in this and color at heart to be included in the video we would love for you to send that in this week's would you rather question is would you rather sing or dance I gave you a little clue as to my preference in my picture this morning about I hope that you will take the time to vote remember to vote by Wednesday because polls will close the results will be posted on Thursday wanted to give a little plug for some of the school clubs that have been formed if you haven't signed up it's not too late we have a an art club we haven't animal crossing the club and we also have a cooking club also if you have ideas or your parents have ideas about additional clubs that you would like to see at Charter School this year don't hesitate to reach out and share those ID with Mrs Gill we have some birthdays to celebrate yesterday on Labor Day we had Levi and first grade and Laurel and 8th grade celebrate their birthdays so happy birthday to Levi and moral and today play September 8th we have Lucas and Kinder and Gia and Kinder and we also have kid in sixth grade We wish all of you a very happy birthday and a wonderful year ahead I can't end without a safety reminder and that is that too please remember to stay six feet away from others in public and wear masks when you cannot check out this cool math that I have it is a cat and this one was made by mrs. Vargas in it grips right on my nose very nicely and covers both my nose and mouth and the fact that it is camo leads me to my next announcement and that is at Spirit Week is coming up next week we have a mask day and a camel day so won't this come in handy so take some time this week to check out the scene so that you will be all ready to participate in spirit week next week in the meantime I asked you all to stay safe I added a few safety items to my virtual office this week I wonder if you can find them and I also I wish you all a wonderful week of learning I look forward to seeing you next week take care
