good morning Charter School of Morgan Hill it's mrs. fackrell in here and it is my pleasure to bring to you the Monday morning announcements and I'm doing so this morning from my Virtual Office gosh it's been a hard weekend here in Morgan Hill we know that many of our families have been forced to evacuate their homes and we're just hoping that all of our csmh families are staying safe we're sending our good thoughts and best wishes to all of you during these challenging times and we are here to help if there's anything at all that we can do please do not hesitate to reach out to us and let us know even amidst all challenging Smoky air and evacuations and a few technology glitches here and there cheetahs are resilient and we successfully completed our first week of school. Congratulations and to our students and our teachers and our parents we thank you for your amazing teamwork again we know that we can count on each other to continue to persevere persevere even when times are challenging and I appreciated seeing many of you parents while virtually any way in our back to school night presentations last week as always we will continue to form the strong homeschool and a partnership and will continue to rely on you as we navigate the year had let's move on to something a little bit more fun on this Monday morning we have a few birthdays to celebrate we have Zander in first grade I'm pretty sure in fourth grade and Adelina and fourth grade we also have our first grade teacher mrs. Miller who celebrated her birthday over the weekend so we all wish you a happy birthday and hopefully fabulous year ahead for all of you last week on Friday we kicked off our annual giving program also known as a GP and this is the most important fundraiser and is vital to the Ursula Morgan Hill this year even more so probably than any other we ask that all families go online and complete the AGP form even if you're not able to donate at this time we still ask that you fill out the form and by doing so you make your teacher eligible for a little bit more a little bit of extra spending money and his or her budget this year so again I encourage you all to go find fill out the form the deadline is August 31st and now on to our safety message of the day I am going to remind you to stay 6 feet apart from others and especially when this is a possum wear your mask in public I've been doing a lot of practicing with my mask making sure that I put it on over my nose and mouth and check out this cool cheetah print this was Stone and donated by Linnea party Grandma bestowed and donated a big bag of ranch to our school community so thank you we are super appreciative to help us get to know our community a little bit better we are having a weekly would you rather question this week question is would you rather eat pizza or birthday cake I think we might know what Xander and Adelina and pre-show will say but how about the rest of you. Please use the link in the email today and cast your vote that you can continue to vote up until Wednesday and the pool will be published on Thursday and we will be able to see what our community would rather Barbie eating wanted to take a moment to just acknowledge our deepest appreciation and gratitude for the firefighters who are working around the clock to help keep our community safe and protect Mrs Gill has published an address and so I encourage all of you students this week to take a moment out of your day and write a small note of appreciation and send it to a local firefighter again the address is posted in the email and I guess I want to just end with the message on to our cheetahs all of our cheetahs out there that we've got this week strong community and we will continue to support each other and lean on each other especially when times are challenging for now I wish you all a great week of learning and I will see you again
