Kevin Olson joined CSMH in 2016 as a technology and math teacher. Mr. Olson studied education at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, and completed his student teaching experience at San Jose State University. He started teaching in 2016 in San Jose, CA, where he taught sixth grade for seven years. He then took on a role as an Instructional Coach, working with the staff of two different schools to implement innovative teaching strategies, adapt to new standards, and incorporate technology effectively. He has a strong passion for tech and gadgetry, both for their potential in the classroom and "just for fun!" Mr. Olson lives in Morgan Hill with his wife Philippa, son Oliver (a CSMH student), daughter Chloe (future CSMH student), dog Raffi, and a neighborhood cat who showed up on their doorstep one day. He enjoys spending time with his family, tinkering and making, and board games.
