A message to close out the 2019-2020 school year from Principal Pfefferlen.

Charter School of Morgan Hill cheetahs it's mrs. pfefferle in here and today is officially the last day of the 2019-2020 school year I always describe the last day of school as one of the best days and one of the most difficult days all rolled into one we're looking ahead to the summer months to some relaxation and some downtime but we're also having a hard time thinking about saying goodbye to our teachers and our friends and not seeing them every day this year feels especially challenging because we haven't physically been together for so long but let's take a few moments and reflect on the amazing year that we have had together and all of the growth that each of you has made I always like to take this opportunity to say thank you to our parents for partnering with us and for entrusting us with those who are nearest and dearest to your heart your student thank you teacher spray the emerald hours that you put in trying to meet every student's needs and for creating classroom cultures that feel like family we are so grateful and thank you to our student you are the reason that we do what we do why we come to work every day we love watching you grow and evolve taking rest doing your best we're so proud of you last night we came together celebrate our eighth-grade student we had a drive-thru celebration yesterday afternoon and a virtual ceremony last evening celebrating their many accomplishment we will be very sad to see them go but it's time them to leave the charter school now and we know that Bright Futures are head for them congratulations to the class of 2020 we don't know what the fall is going to look like yet we know that we're still in times of uncertainty but what is not answer uncertain Is our commitment to you whatever the future holds we will come together as a community and we will be ready with bring the energy we will be looking forward to new beginnings new friends new teachers new curriculum and a fresh start for all of us each year at this end of the year ceremony that we have we take time to acknowledge the fact that you have made it you finish the grade level that you're in and you will be filling seats in the new classroom next year so let's take a moment and give yourself a pat on the back I'm do a little dance give yourself a big because you have accomplished great things our community has come together and we have all done more than we ever thought possible and I'm so proud so for now I wish you the best summer you will not stop hearing from us we will continue to be in touch but for now I send you my love and my congratulations and we will see you very soon
