Background & Experience
Brandon Ramazzina
rejoins the CSMH faculty for his fourth year, teaching Middle School Spanish (7th-8th). Formerly, Mr. Ramazzina was part of the teaching staff at Rockford Christian Schools in Rockford, Illinois, where he also taught Spanish (K-8, 12), before joining Charter School in 2008. He received his first single-subject credential in 2007, and Masters in Teaching in 2008, from Rockford College. He also obtained a Clear Single-subject California Teaching Credential in 2009. Mr. Ramazzina earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Latin American Studies Minor from California State University, Stanislaus in Turlock, California in 2005, having also studied abroad at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain, for two semesters. In addition to studying abroad, Mr. Ramazzina has visited Mexico (3x), Guatemala (2x), and the Dominican Republic (2x) for short-term missions work within the last ten years.
Mr. Ramazzina enjoys helping students prepare for successful advanced placement in High School. His primary goal, however, is to help students experience and understand both the personal and professional value of learning a language and culture so many around them know and experience each and every day. Mr. Ramazzina also enjoys helping his students navigate the important life lessons that present themselves along the way.
Mr. Ramazzina is a happy husband of six years, father, and greatly enjoys spending time with his wife and son, when not at school.
Personal hobbies and activities include reading, writing, blogging, hiking, exercising, bike riding, concert going, traveling, classic movies, music, Mexican food and good coffee. He and his family are members of Mercy Hill Church in San Jose. |
