Background & Experience

Angie Cary received a BA degree in Communications with an emphasis on Children's Culture and a minor in African Studies from the University of California, San Diego. After completing a six-month stay in Ghana, she returned to UCSD for her Teaching Credential and Masters in Education with an emphasis in Elementary Mathematics. In addition to her prior teaching experiences, Angie has worked with children as a Camp Counselor, Recreation Director, Leadership Curriculum Coordinator, and in early college outreach. She began her CSMH career teaching 5th grade and is excited about teaching 6th grade for the 2011-12 school year.
